Just a quick note to say that I hope all of you folks heading up to the big T.O. for Podcamp Toronto have a great time! (And I’m sure you will!) I can see via Twitter that Bryper, Chris Brogan, John Wall and Christopher Penn are all on their way up there… (currently in Buffalo). It looks to be a fantastic event. Since I’m heading out to Emerging Telephony in San Francisco on Monday, I just couldn’t also go to Toronto, but it definitely looks to be a great time. I’ll look forward to reading and hearing about it in various blogs and podcasts over the next days and weeks.
Wow. Now I’m missing you at THIS event, too? Sheesh. : )
We hope to see you in Boston in October!
Dan,
I’m a little late on this post, but glad to be here. Thanks for the well wishes, I managed to attend (as you no doubt heard on several podcasts by now) and had a great time. Being my first (real) meet-up with other social media geeks, I was having trouble focusing on the content at hand. Too many people to meet f2f in such a short amount of time. I’ve been having to go back to the media archive to watch the videos of sessions I missed or sessions I couldn’t focus on, but sat through. Sorry you couldn’t make it. Catch you next time.
Luke,
I completely understand the distraction… it’s wonderful to be able to meet so many people face-to-face. That really is the best use of time at so many of these conferences. It’s an interesting dynamic, actually, that you can now go back and watch all the videos… does change what you can do at the conference if you know you can also see the sessions later.
Thanks for the comment,
Dan
The organizing committee is busy working on logistics. And since our event is only as strong as our community, we’ll be back in the new year with details for participants (including how you can present a session), sponsors and volunteers. Let’s get to the camp everyone.
