Back in December, I outlined some of the ways in which I found Twitter to be useful in my post “The 10 ways I learned to use Twitter in 2007” and in recent days a few more people have posted their own insight into how it has been helpful to them:
- Paull Young: “Examples of Twitter Providing Business Benefit” (complete with showing actual Twitter exchanges to prove his points)
- Doug Haslam: “Twitter: Where’s it @ for Business?”
Both are excellent posts that I would highly recommend.
Do you find value in Twitter?

Interesting collection of links. For me, Twitter value comes from its replication of live networks, sometimes inane and refreshing, sometimes hugely useful for business information, invaluable in problem solving and throwing around ideas…… Because Twitter does not prescribe a way of using it, it is the most flexible of tools.
Dan,
Thanks for the link– I saw– and loved– your post as well, and apologize if I failed to link to it at some point (I may have, but I’m old and memory fails me).
And Harriet is right– Twitter’s flexibility– as well as its simplicity– make it a hard-to-kill app.
Maybe Twitter is the cockroach of social networks?
